The Discovery Explorer Scout Unit wrapped up their spring term with a variety of engaging indoor activities — a trend they don’t plan to continue into the summer! While the warmth of the hut kept everyone sheltered from the bitter cold, the spirit of adventure was very much alive.
Highlights included sharing tales of summer escapades and a fantastic evening of Scottish flair at the Burns Night Ceilidh, hosted by Steve and Helen — a big thank you to both for a memorable night of dancing and celebration.
The rest of the term brought a fun mix of challenges and festivities, from a sharp-eyed round of Bullseye and creative chaos with Taskmaster, to the ever-popular Pancake Night. The unit also marked Australia Day with themed activities and fun.
With longer evenings ahead, the Explorers are eager to get back outdoors for an action-packed summer term!
